Well, not really! Especially conventional “school.” But this old high school was really neat. It had a spiral staircase that bore the markings of probably hundreds of students - all marked in pencil on the back of the stair panels. Pretty neat, but we didn’t get pictures of all that. Just at the top, and looking down.
They had a nice auditorium and while the echo is great for singing, it’s not that great for the sound guy. It went pretty good though. I like reverb
The details are what were so interesting. That and the overall size. It so felt like I could step right back to the ’30s, minus all of the worn woodwork and the remuddling that had taken place. Not that I know what the ’30s would feel like. I guess movies help to shape your impression of what past eras would have been like. That and Reminisce Magazine
I wonder how much it would cost to build a new school of this size with this quality of craftsmanship and detail :p

Carol, yes! Too bad we can’t carry the room around on the bus ;D
